The Peabody Police Department’s Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students from accredited colleges and universities who are pursuing a degree in the field of Criminal Justice the opportunity to gain valuable experience and life skills through participating in day-to-day functions of the Peabody Police Department. In order to apply please see the requirements and detailed instructions below:

Requirements.

Minimum GPA  3.0

Application Instructions:

Part I:

  1. Please create a single PDF file containing the following documents in the following order:
    1. Cover Letter
    2. PPD Internship Application (download here)
    3. Resume
    4. College Transcripts
      1. Unofficial transcripts for PDF
    5. Copy of Driver’s License
    6. Copies of pertinent certifications/training
  2. Please send the single PDF document to:  or 
    1. Include in the Subject Line: Full Name Peabody Police Department Internship

Part II:

  1. Please send hardcopies of all documents including the following further instructions:
    1. Please print PPD Application (Item 1b):
      1. Notarize the bottom of page 6
      2. Sign pages 6-7
    2. Send official college transcripts (Item 1d) in a sealed envelope
  2. Send the application packet containing all of the following documents to:
